Ad hoc group of community leaders assemble in Louisville to workshop with 21st Century Parks on a strategic master plan in the winter. Strategic Master Plan delivered by 21st Century Parks and presented to the Urban County Council later in the spring.
Mayor Gray includes $10M for TBC in his capital budget proposal. Adopted by the Urban County Council.

LDDA and UK Extension undertake series of active living and environmental education pop-up events as the Town Branch Water Walk in the fall.
TBC awarded $5.9M in state transportation grants in the fall.

Rupp/Convention Center schematic design completed and unveiled publically. Town Branch Commons is an integrated part of the design.

LDDA, with support from UK College of Design and Fayette Alliance Foundation, hosts an international invited design competition, selecting a proposal from SCAPE/Landscape Architecture. Submissions publically exhibited at DAC in February. SCAPE makes public presentation of the design proposal.
SCAPE engaged by LDDA to undertake a physical master plan for the project and engaged as part of the LCC design team for Rupp/Convention Center renovation. Centrepointe developers engage SCAPE to advise on Vine Street portion of site plan.
Rupp Arena Arts & Entertainment District Task Force adopts RAAED Master Plan (SPACEGROUP). Master Plan recommends creation of a linear park along the historic path of the Town Branch.
